Infiniti announced last night that their upcoming electric sports car concept will be called Emerge-E.
The EMERG-E will be unveiled to the public at the 82nd edition Geneva Motor Show on March 6, in Infiniti stating that this "will be the first car from the brand to have not only a range-extender
drivetrain offering vivid performance with zero emissions capability but
also one mounted in a mid-ship package for optimal handling."
Various sources mention that the car’s range extender is a 1.2-litre engine but we’ll see whether or not this is the case one the EMERG-E will make its debut.
It also remains to be seen if Infiniti has plans of putting the EMERG-E into production or if we are only talking about a study serving as platform for future models.
