The Korean automaker continues to add models offering sub 100 grammes of CO2/Km emissions to its range. The i10 Blue was added at the beginning of the year and right now they are introducing the new generation Hyundai i20 Blue.
The car is based on the current i20 Comfort and is fitted with a 1.4-litre 4-cylinder CRDi engine under its bonnet, responsible for producing 90 PS and returning a remarkable 76.4 mpg (UK rating / combined cycle).
The exact CO2 emission level for the Hyundai i20 Blue is 98 g/Km, figure which was achieved due to the addition of low rolling resistance tires, an under cover and rear wheel deflector plus the Intelligent Stop & Go (ISG) technology.
Apart from its cheap-to-run credentials (up to 63 GBP to fill up its tank with diesel fuel) the new Hyundai i20 Blue can also generate a driving range of 755 miles. The car comes with 15 inch alloys, Bluetooth connectivity, electric heated door mirrors, electric windows, steering wheel mounted audio controls, USB and AUX ports plus remote central locking as standard.
The Hyundai i20 Blue price starts at 13,195 GBP in the UK, and the car is already available for order.
