Hyundai has unveiled the production version of the Genesis Prada (seen for the first time at the 2009 Seoul Motor Show) at a special media event held in the Korean capital today.
Based on the 2012 Genesis, this limited edition version designed with input from Prada (one of the world’s most exclusive luxury brands), extracts power from a 5.0-litre GDi V8 engine producing 430 PS and 52.0kgm of peak torque via a 8-speed automatic transmission.
Available in three special colours (Black Nero, Blue Baltico and Brown Moro) the Hyundai Genesis Prada features 19 inch alloys wheels, an wedge shaped outer antenna and a number of dark chrome finishes applied to the front grille, emblem and door handles.
At the interior this special edition Hyundai features a new dashboard and revised upholstery crafted in ‘saffiano’ leather, plus the Genesis Prada badge and the GP500 emblem.
Sales for the Hyundai Genesis Prada will be limited to 1,200 exemplars in Korea, with the automaker planning to export small numbers of this limited edition for the Middle East and various Asian countries (including China) later on.
