Hyundai is officially entering the small SUV market with the introduction of the new Creta on the Indian market. The car was unveiled this weekend and will be available in the middle of July in India.
 
The new vehicle features the Hive Structure platform, which ensures body endurance & crash performance comprising high proportion of Advanced High Strength steel (AHSS) & Ultra High Strength Steel (UHSS), reinforced roof structure with multiple cross members, improved crash performance both frontal & side, front end bolted type modular structure to reduce the maintenance cost and low NVH with detail optimization of dash panel, center floor tunnel, anti-vibration pads and dash insulators. 
 
On the outside, the new new Hyundai Creta features the Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 Design and under the hood we have a choice of petrol 1.6 Dual VTVT and the 1.4 CRDi and 1.6 CRDi diesel engines. 
 
The 1.6 Gamma Dual VTVT petrol engine offers 123 PS power, while the 1.6 CRDi VGT (MT/AT) diesel engine offers 128 PS. The Automatic Transmission with 1.6 CRDi is a first-in segment diesel.
 
The new Hyundai Creta features an impressive list of standard equipment, including projector headlamps with LED Positioning lamp, 17 inch Diamond Cut Alloys, 7 inch AVN with 6 speakers, Smart key with Push button Start and 6 Airbags (includes Sides & Curtains).
