The Japanese car maker Honda has unveiled today the 2014 Civic Tourer. The new break will have its world premiere this fall at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.
The production version of the Honda Civic Tourer was previewed this year by the concept with the same name. On the outside, the Japanese break comes with the same design as the hatchback.
We see some big and angular headlights with LED technology, an aggressive front grille, and some oversized taillights. When you’ll look at the brand new Honda Civic Tourer from this side you will see something different. You’ll see a very attractive break that has no breaks in the design, especially at the luggage, where most of the wagons have that cliff.
Speaking of luggage we have to say that the new Honda Civic Tourer will come with class-leading interior room. The luggage compartment has 624 liters and it can extend up to 1.668 liters when the back seats are folded. The Japanese will come with rear Magic Seats, a system that helps you to fold down the seats in one easy motion.
Under the hood, the 2014 Honda Civic Tourer will come with two unit options. We are talking about a 1.6 liter i-DTEC engine with 120 hp and 300 Nm and about the 1.8 liter i-VTEC that can deliver 142 HP and 174 Nm peek of torque.
The new Civic Tourer will be built at the United Kingdom plant and the European sales will begin early next year.
