Holden has today announced it will add a new RS sports model to its popular Barina small car range before the end of the year, with confirmation that the first Barina RS cars have arrived in Australia.

Holden Barina RS features unique exterior styling including sports body kit incorporating larger rear spoiler, front and rear sports fascias and side skirts, new 17-inch alloy wheels and exclusive-for-RS paint colour, Orange Rock.

Barina RS also offers sports interior finishes including sport seats with RS branding and flat bottomed steering wheel.
Local engineering development work for Barina RS includes a unique-for-Australia electric power steering tune that was undertaken by Holden’s own engineers.

The Holden engineering team has been involved in thousands of kilometres of validation work and is now undertaking in-country evaluation on public roads and at the Lang Lang proving ground ahead of the Barina RS on sale date in November.

Full specifications and features of Barina RS including powertrain options and pricing will be available at launch.
