GMC increases the Sierra All Terrain appeal with the introduction of the a new special edition, available starting this spring only in the US. It is acalled All Terrain X and features an aggressive appearance with a monochromatic body. 

The GMC All terrain X is based on the 2016 Sierra 1500 4WD crew cab or short box body versions. It also features the SLT trim level. The X package adds 265/65R18SL Mud-Terrain-rated Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac MT tires, designed for off-road competence in dirt, gravel and mud, mounted on 18 inch black aluminum wheels.

The aggressive package includes black sport side steps, bed-mounted sport bar designed to support the accessory off-road LED lighting package, LED headlamps, performance exhaust system, which bumps output of the 5.3L V-8 engine to 365 horsepower, body-color door handles and body-side moldings, black exterior mirrors, belt moldings and B-pillars, interior floor liners.

The new GMC All Terrain X will be available in Onyx Black, Summit White, Stone Blue Metallic, Iridium Metallic, Crimson Red Tintcoat, Light Steel Gray Metallic.


To be available for every off-road challenge, the GMC All Terrain X comes with 4WD Eaton locking rear differential, Z71 Off-Road suspension package with Rancho monotube shocks, high-capacity air cleaner, Hill Descent Control and underbody transfer case shield.
