Ford has unveiled today the brand-new Mustang 50 Year Limited Edition which was developed to celebrate five decades since the original pony car was revealed on the market.
 
Only 1,964 units will be made and all of them are based on the 2015MY Mustang GT. Furthermore, the car will be equipped with the Performance Pack and will go on sale this fall after the unveiling scheduled for New York Auto Show.
 
Customers of the Mustang 50 Year Limited Edition will be able to choose a Wimbledon White or a Kona Blue exterior paint. In addition, the pony car can be ordered with a six-speed manual gearbox or with a six-speed automatic transmission. 
 
According to Ford, the automatic version of the Mustang 50 Year Limited Edition will come with a Torsen limited slip differentia with a 3:55:1 final-drive. Under the hood, the 2015 Ford Mustang 50 Year Limited Edition will be a V8 5.0 liter naturally-aspirated engine which can offer 420 horsepower and 528 Nm peak of torque. 
 
Inside the cockpit, customers will find leather covered, cashmere-stitched steering wheel while the seats were wrapped in a unique two-tone cashmere and black leather upholstery. On the seatback there is also a Mustang 50 Year logo.
