Ford Focus Zetec S was used by World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) race team Arena to unveil a special edition of the compact car. Called Ford Focus WTCC, the car has been designed by Arena to celebrate the team’s first season in the WTCC.
Under the bonnet, the car features a 1.6 turbocharged EcoBoost engine that has been upgraded by Arena’s race engine partner Mountune Performance to deliver 202 hp and 320Nm torque and will sit on Team Dynamics alloys identical to those on the racing car with Yokohama low profile tyres fitted as standard.
The car is finished in Ford’s Artic White and comes complete with the same decals that appear on the WTCC racers including the now traditional navy blue racing stripes, first made famous by the late Carroll Shelby in the early 1960’s.
Attention has also been paid to the interior of the Focus WTCC Limited Edition with carbon fibre featured on the centre console, main control panel and sill kick plates.
