The Blue Oval has revealed the 2013 Ford F-Series Super Duty Platinum
during the weekend, the "no-compromise truck" with added luxury and
unique design ques as well as with a wealth of standard features.
The "The F-Series Super Duty Platinum is the latest expression of Built Ford
Tough truck luxury," said Brian Rathsburg, F-Series Super Duty Marketing
manager. "It has a distinct appearance and a long list of features to
deliver a superior experience. Along with that, it has all of the
capability F-Series trucks are famous for."
Available in Super Duty
crew cab only, the 2013 Ford F-Series Super Duty Platinum can be
ordered as an F-250, F-350 or F-450 pickup, with a 6.7-litre Power
Stroke diesel engine or a 6.2-litre V8 gasoline unit.
The list of
exterior enhancements features by this flagship model includes a grille
with a satin chrome surround and a perforated mesh, a monochromatic
bumper, chrome tow hooks, chrome door handles, mirror caps, running
boards and exhaust tip as well as the ‘Platinum’ lettering in chrome.
The
2013 Ford F-Series Super Duty Platinum sits on 20 inch polished
aluminium wheels, and its luxed up interior uses premium leather, unique
wood grain appliques, a heated/leather wrapped steering wheel and
various genuine wood accents.
The vehicle also comes with a new
storage area on top of the dash with two USB ports, audio-video
connections, an SD card slot and a 12-volt charging port, while the rest
of the features include a 10-way power adjustable driver’s seat, the
MyFord Touch system, power adjustable pedals, a rear view camera, a
remote-start system and an universal garage door opener.
The 2013 Ford F-Series Super Duty Platinum will go on sale later this year, with pricing for this version yet to be announced.
