Apart from the 695 Competizione and the 500 Cabrio Italia, Abarth will also premiere the Punto SuperSport in Frankfurt next month.
Characterised by the same Grigio Campovolo two-tone livery as the 695 Competizione enriched by a matte black paintwork across the roof and the bonnet, the Abarth Punto SuperSport has also been equipped with black mirrors covers, 18 inch 12-spoke design alloys also painted in black and contrasting red brake callipers.
The Abarth Punto SuperSport extracts its juices from a 1.4-litre Multiair engine developing 180 HP (132 kW) at 5,570 rpm and 270 Nm of torque at 2,500 rpm. The SuperSport can hit a top speed of 216 Km/h and can go from o to 100 Km/h in 7.5 seconds.
Apart from a modified suspension the Abarth Punto SuperSport comes with some of the safety features found on the ‘Esseesse Abarth Koni’ kit as well as floating, perforated and self-ventilated front disc brakes and perforated rear disc brakes.
The car also received high performance front brake pedals, front and rear shock absorbers from Koni and an oversized exhaust pipe also part of the Esseesse kit.
Inside the Abarth Punto SuperSport the Itialian tuner has added a pair of black leather seats featuring yellow stitching and gloss black headrests, an Abarth Blue&MeTM MAP satellite navigation unit with a telemetric function, a laser-treated aluminium kick plate, stainless steel pedals and a leather steering wheels with double red and yellow stitching.
