Ferrari has officially unveiled the all-new special version 458 Speciale A (A as in "Aperta" which is the Italian word for "Open") at the Paris Motor Show. On the exterior, the car is painted in the traditional Scuderia Yellow paint and features white and black stripes on the bonnet and rear end. 

Ferrari says that the 458 Speciale A is described as the most aerodynamically efficient spider model ever and it will be built in only 499 units. For now, prices have not been announced but in the U.S. the price will probably kick off at $298,000 USD. The new Ferrari 458 Speciale A comes with a retractable aluminum hardtop that can be operated in 14 seconds.

Under the hood, the Ferrari 458 Speciale A features the same V8 4.5 liter engine rated at 610 horsepower and 540 Nm peak of torque. In addition, the car is 50 kilograms (100 pounds) heavier than the fixed roof version.
