Dodge introduced the new Charger during the first day of New York International Auto Show. Dodge Charger gets a complete makeover for 2015 with some powertrain upgrades that will include a standard eight-speed automatic gearbox on both versions of the car. This includes the standard 3.6-liter V-6 Pentastar engine and the new R/T equipped 5.7-liter HEMI V8.

On the outside, the new Charger features new hood, fenders, front and rear fascias, front doors, a three-piece spoiler (standard on the R/T), Dodge signature LED racetrack tail lamps, projector headlamps and LED fog lamps. The exterior also comes with new wheels, including standard 20 inch on the R/T, and two new colors: B5 Blue and the classic TorRed.

On the inside, the 2015 Charger features 7-inch TFT customizable digital gauge cluster, instrument panel center stack with next-generation radio and 5.0-inch or 8.4-inch touchscreen displays with navigation and apps for your mobile phone. The driver will also have a new three-spoke steering wheel with available paddle shifters and new performance-inspired electronic shifter.

Returning to engines, when the Charger is equipped with the 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine and its 370 horsepower and 395 lb.-ft. of torque, Charger R/T can deliver 0-60 mph sprint in just 5 seconds. If you will go the easy way, Dodge Charger SE and SXT feature 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine with 292 horsepower at 6,350 rpm and 260 lb.-ft. (353 Nm) of torque at 4,800 rpm. The car guarantees only 31 miles per gallon (mpg) on the highway.
