Dodge will make use of this year Chicago Motor Show to showcase a special edition of the current Challenger. The Chrysler subsidiary will offer its new 2013 Challenger R/T Redline during the Windy City Motor Show.
 
It is the second edition, almost a year after the Challenger Rallye Edition. This time, the model will be powered exclusively by the popular HEMI 5.7 liter V8 engine. The unit will guarantee 375 hp and 555 Nm of torque when is mated to a six speed manual transmission. When the clients opt for the automatic 5-speed gearbox, the engine offers 372 hp and 542 Nm.
 
Dodge will also limit the choice of colors for this edition, only Pitch Black, Granite Crystal, Bright White and Bullet Silver being available. The special edition will feature as standard equipment Uconnect Voice Command with Bluetooth, USB/iPod/AUX connectivity, automatic headlamps, fog lamps, remote start, Mopar T-handle shifter and bright pedals.
 
For those opting for the Plus version, Dodge offers as extra package heated front seats, Nappa Leather seats, power heated mirrors, rear park sensors and a Boston Acoustics sound system with a 276-watt amplifier.
 
The 2013 Dodge Challenger R/T starts from 31.990 dollars, while the R/T Plus version comes for 33.990 dollars. For those who want the Redline package, the budget increases with 1995 USD.
