Citroen unveils a brand new concept during this year’s Paris Motor Show. It is called C1 Urban Ride Concept and it is based on two different variants of the C1 mini model: the five-door hatchback and the cabrio.
Both feature an off-road exterior, with accessories that can ease the access in harsh terrain. The SUV-inspired mini features a ground clearance raised by 15mm and bumper fairings are provided front and rear, along with wheel arch trim elements. The tracks have been increased by 10mm.
The cabrio model, called Citroen C1 Urban Ride Airscape features a textile roof and benefits from the biggest roof opening in its class. To determine if the concepts should be built, Citroen will poll motor show counter visitors where people can express their preferences.
No info about the engine, but we can expect a new three-cylinder petrol unit under the two concepts hood.
