Citroen has unveiled today in China a sportier version of the c-Quatre (C4) called VTS. The new version of the C4 is available only in China and is based on the first generation C4.

On the outside, the 2014 Citroen c-Quatre VTS has a quad exhaust system which is pretty exaggerated because the model will be available only with a 2.0 liter four cylinder naturally-aspirated unit rated at 147 horsepower.

The 2014 Citroen c-Quatre VTS rides on the same alloy rims as the standard car, but it can be distinguished by a red rear wing, new side skirts, front and rear lower bumper attachments and racing stripes. In addition, we see some faux air vents on the hood.

The new 2014 Citroen c-Quatre VTS has a price tag of about 18,300 USD and can go all the way up to 22,000 USD.  A more interesting Citroën sedan with true sporty aspirations is the upcoming 300 horsepower DS 5LS R concept set to be unveiled later this month at Beijing Motor Show.
