The North American manufacturer has announced US pricing for the 2012 SRT8 versions Chrysler 300, Dodge Challenger/Charger and Jeep Grand Cherokee.
The 300 SRT8 starts at 47,995 USD and for that amount you’ll get a 6.4-litre HEMI V8 under the bonnet which will produce 470 HP and 470 lf-ft of torque. In you want those figures translated into performance, then the 300 SRT8 will do nought to 60 mph in around 4.9 seconds ("high 4-second range") while top speed if 175 mph.
This same engine is also offered on the 2012 Dodge Charger SRT8 for which pricing starts at 46,660 USD, so you’ll be able to get the same level of performance for slightly less.
