Chevrolet decided to share an image with the upcoming Cruze Station Wagon before its debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show.
This third body variant Cruze will offer close to 1,500-litres worth of cargo space (with the rear seats folded), and will complement the existing saloon and hatchback models.
Its engine will be a 1.7-litre VCDi diesel mated with start-stop technology as standard and rated at 130 bhp. CO2 emission levels are going to reach 119 grams per Km while fuel consumption figures are yet to be announced.
The 2012 Chevrolet Cruze Station Wagon measures 4,678 mm in length, which means it is 168 mm longer than the hatch and just 81 mm longer than the saloon and its load space with the rear seats up is 500-litres.
Chevrolet Europe President and Managing Director Susan Docherty said that "The Cruze Station Wagon caters to an important market segment. It ticks
all the boxes for European drivers in terms of distinctive design,
dynamic driving, space and economy".
Apart from its elongated body the Chevrolet Cruze Station Wago will also feature a number of exterior and interior styling changes, and these include a remodeled front fascia, modified headlamp interiors and fog lamps, newly designed wheels, further refinements applied to the center console and new seat finishes
