Chevrolet has officially unveiled the 2017 Chevrolet Cruze Hatchback ahead of the 2016 Detroit Motor Show. The new model has a class-leading wheelbase of 106.3 inches (2,700 mm) and features a more sporty and youthful look. 

The trunk of the 2017 Chevrolet Cruze Hatchback offers 18.5 cubic feet (525 liters) of space and if you fold down the rear seats you will get 42 cubic feet (1.198 liters) of luggage room. 

The 2017 Chevrolet Cruze Hatchback will be available in LT and Premier trims and if you are looking for a sporty design you can choose the RS package. 

Under the hood of the 2017 Chevrolet Cruze Hatchback will be the same 1.4 liter turbocharged engine that can deliver 153 horsepower at 5.600 rpm and 177 pound-feet (240 Nm) of torque from 2,000 rpm. The engine is matted to a six speed manual gearbox but on the option list you will find a six speed automatic transmission.

For now, the Chevrolet officials haven’t offer any details about the performance but we know that the sedan runs from not to 60 mph in 8.0 seconds. 

As we said, the new 2017 Chevrolet Cruze Hatchback will be showcased during the 2016 Detroit Motor Show and it will go on sale this fall.
