Chevrolet has officially unveiled the 2016 Camaro muscle car. The six generation Camaro was prepared 350 hours in the wind tunnel for a better aerodynamic and, according to the U.S.-based car manufacturer it weighs 90 kilograms less than the old model. 

In standard, the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro comes with halogen projector beam headlights and taillights, while the RS and SS version are featuring the new HID projector-beam headlamps with DRL LED. 

Under the body, the front part has a new multi-link MacPherson strut while at the rear is a five-link independent rear suspension while Magnetic Ride Control. The stopping power is signed by Brembo for the SS and LT versions.

Inside the cabin, 2016 Chevrolet Camaro has a more driver-focused layout with an 8 inch HD instrument cluster and the new generation MyLink infotainment system that works with another 8 inch display. 

Last, but not least is a Driver Mode Selector providing access to several modes: Snow/Ice, Tour, Sport and Track (SS only). 

Under the hood of the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro is a 2.0 liter engine with 275 horsepower and 400 Nm in the standard version. The next engine on the list is a V6 3.6 liter unit rated at 335 horsepower and 385 Nm peak of torque that can be mated to a six speed manual gearbox or to the new 8-speed Hydra-Matic 8L45 paddle-shift automatic gearbox.

The brand new Camaro SS uses a 6.2 liter V8 engine with 455 horsepower and 617 Nm peak of torque that can be coupled to a six speed manual gearbox or to the same 8-speed Hydra-Matic 8L45 paddle-shift automatic gearbox.
