Chevrolet is back with another pictures with the upcoming 2016 Camaro. This time, the U.S. based car manufacturer has decided to show us a portion of the front fascia and the side profile.
According to Chevrolet, the new generation Camaro was tested in the wind tunnel for no less than 30 hours in order to improve stability, cooling and performance. The initial plan was to install the lower grill bars at a 20-degree plan to the horizontal but after the tests they have jumped to the conclusion that 13-degree angle is the best.
Instead of having a conventional front air dam the engineers have developed a flush belly pan stretching from the front grille to the center of the car. As a result, the total lift has been reduced with 30%.
As you may have read, the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro will be revealed on May 16 at a special event organized in Detroit at Belle Isle Park.
