GM has recently announced that they made a couple of changes and upgrades to the latest generation Cadillac SRX in order to make the car more competitive in terms of performance.
Naturally that means that the 2012 Cadillac SRX has received a more potent powerplant, which according to GM is a new 3.6-litre V6 developing 308 horses (230 kW) and 359 Nm (265 lb-ft) of torque via a 6-speed automatic gearbox with ECO Mode.
Apart from being more powerful and more fuel efficient, the 2012 Cadillac SRX is also capable of running on ethanol E85, plus it features an upgraded suspension and a sound absorbing material that will help turn the cabin into a quieter environment.
And speaking of the SRX’s interior, customers who purchase the 2012 model will also benefit from newly added standard features which include ebony covered surfaces and Bluetooth connectivity.
The 2012 Cadillac SRX price starts at 36,060 USD and sales will begin in August.
