Buick announces pricing for both its fuel efficient 2012 Regal eAssist and the performance oriented 2012 Regal GS models.
The 2012 Buick Regal eAssist price starts at 29,530 USD and in this case the car comes with both the automaker’s 2.4L Ecotec engine as well as the 2.0-litre turbo. The eAssist system represents a 2,000 USD option, and when equipped with it, the car can returns 25 mpg in the city and 36 mpg on the highway. 
As for the 2012 Buick Regal GS pricing starts at 35,310 USD, and this time its power comes from a 2.0-litre turbo producing 270 horses (201kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque. At first this model will be available with a manual gearbox only, but a 6-speed automatic will also be offered later on.
Both prices mentioned above include the 860 USD destination charge, and as far as availability, both the 2012 Regal eAssist and the 2012 Regal GS will hit the dealership floor this fall.
