GM has announced pricing for the 2012 Buick LaCrosse eAssist and the fact they are now offering a new 2.4-litre 4-cylinder engine for the based model LaCrosse and a revised 3.6-litre V6 on the range topping version.
With an estimated efficiency level around 25 percent higher than the current model which produces 182 HP, the 2012 Buick LaCrosse eAssist price starts at 29,960 USD without the 860 USD delivery charge, and GM’s official consumption figures for it are 37 mpg on the highway (up from 30 mpg).
As for the updated 3.6-litre V6 which received an integrated cylinder head/exhaust manifold design and a composite intake manifold, the power level has increased to 303 HP and 264 lb-ft of torque, which represents 23 HP and 5 lb-ft more than on the outgoing version LaCrosse V6.
The list of standard equipment on the 2012 Buick LaCrosse has also received a series of new features like dual-zone climate
control, 17-inch alloys, full-color driver information center plus
Bluetooth and USB connectivity.
