The Bugatti Veyron Super Sport has lost its World Fastest Car title. The Guinness World Records decided to strip the hypercar from this title after finding out that the Molsheim car has been modified when it took the tests.

This means that the car didn’t comply with the rules and the title will be removed. The decision was taken after the commission find out that the car has its top speed limiter deactivated while all the production cars were sold with this limiter active at 258 mph.

In consequence the title will go to the SSC Ultimate Aero, but soon it will be taken by the Venom GT who managed to run with 265.7 mph.
