BMW has officially unveiled the refreshed 5-Series model. The German model comes with a very light exterior redesign, with some interior changes and with Euro 6 exhaust gas standards engines. 

On the outside, the 5-Series range comes with a redesigned front bumper with matter silver accents, new contour lines for the kidney grille and new headlamps. The sedan and the Touring versions also come with redesigned taillights. 

Inside the cabin, the 5-Series range is available with the new iDrive system and with more storage compartments. For the Gran Turismo, BMW added 60 more liters of boot space for a total of 500 liters. 

The 5-Series facelift comes now with Proactive Driving Assistant, Eco Pro Route function while all the diesel engines are fitted with BluePerformance technology to improve power and fuel consumption.

For the European market, BMW added a new entry level. We are talking about 518d. It has a 2.0 liter turbo diesel unit that can deliver 141 horsepower and can return 4.5 liters per 100 km. 

In North America, BMW is expanding the range with the 535d sedan. It can deliver 255 HP and 413 lb-ft peek of torque. The base model is 528i Sedan. Its price starts from 50.425 USD. The "Eco" ActiveHybrid 5 starts from 62.325 USD, while the Gran Turismo entry level is priced at 60.925 Dollars.
