BMW will use this year Essen Motor Show to unveil the M Performance package for the current 3 Series Touring. The German manufacturer decided to offer a more sporty image to its current D-segment sport brake and listed a series of accessories that will be available at the dealers from April 2013.

On the outside, the family car receives an aero package, a lowered suspension, uprated brakes, 20-inch M light alloy wheels, and sporty side skirts.

For the inside, BMW M Division enhanced the estate with a sports steering wheel, stainless steel pedals, interior strips in Alcantara and carbon and numerous other components finished in carbon.

The engine compartment hasn’t been forgotten. BMW offers an M Power Kit for the current 2.0 litre turbodiesel. The unit manages to offer 200 hp, 16 more than the standard version.

At Essen Motor Show, the BMW stand will host its full M Performance range and Original BMW Accessories line-up.
