Bentley continues to tease the launch of its first ever SUV, the production version of the EXP 9F Concept, unveiled in 2012, during Geneva Motor Show.

The concept car will spawn a SUV that is most probably to be called Falcon. It was almost certain that the concept name EXP 9F will not be preserved due to Bentley tradition of using names not numbers or letters.

The new teaser video, unveiled today, tries to show that the future SUV will be very capable off-road even preserving its luxury credentials.

"In the eyes of Bentley, the SUV is not just supremely capable in any environment, it is also supremely comfortable – and with new vistas on the world, you will see through new eyes."

The future Bentley SUV will be based on the MLB platform, developed by Volkswagen Group. The platform will be used also by new generations Porsche Cayenne, VW Touareg and Audi Q7. The engine range will include a 4.0 liter V8 and the classic 6.0 liter W12. In 2017 a plug-in hybrid version will be launched.
