While some of us were busy celebrating Christmas, some well intended guys at Bentley decided to unveil the first photos of their new Continental GT Speed Convertible, set to be unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show.

Reports are suggesting that there will be a W12 in front with 616 horsepower and 590 foot-pounds of torque running through an eight-speed transmission, and a 0-60 time of about more than 4 seconds.
The drop top model should be slower than the coupe, which can hit 60mph (96km/h) in 4.0 seconds and top out at 205mph (330km/h).

Aesthetically, the convertible has many design traits similar to its predecessor – of course with the most evident difference being the lack of a prominent roof element and the purple paint job never seen before.

The model has a prominent front fascia, a sport-tuned suspension, 21-inch alloy wheels, new exhaust tips and a luxurious interior.
