With BMW enjoying good sales with its 3 Series model and with Mercedes launching the C-Class in the most important markets, Audi senses the danger and starts testing the new generation A4.
The final version of the car is expected to be unveiled during next year, most probably during the Frankfurt Motor Show in autumn.
The first spy videos, shows a test mule on the famous Nurburgring, a sign that Audi continues to consider road holding an important aspect of its future cars.
As you would expect, the options list will include the Matrix LED headlights and the 12.3 inch TFT screen that replaces the instruments.
Among the most important changes of the future A4, we can note the cylinder deactivation technology, set to debut on the 1.4 TSI unit, and the hybrid version, using a 2.0 liter TFSI unit and an electric motor.
