The German carmaker Audi revealed the 2013 S3, a model that will make its public debut next week at 2012 Paris Motor Show.

Under the hood you will find a new 2.0 liter TFSI unit that produces 296 HP (220 kW) at 5.500 rpm and 280 lb-ft (380 Nm). In standard the 2013 Audi S3 will get a six-speed gearbox, but the customers can also choose an S-Tronic dual clutch transmission.

The German model will come with the company’s Quattro all-wheel drive system and will go from stand still to 62 mph in 5.1 seconds. Equipped with the manual transmission the time will raise with 0.3 seconds. The top speed is clocked at 155 mph (250 km/h), and promises a fuel consumption consumption of 6.9 liters/100 km.

The 2013 Audi S3 is lighter than the outgoing generation and thanks to a sport suspension and a new brake system the car will feature a better handling. On the outside you’ll see a new front grille, a revised bumper, daylight running lights with LED, and a restyled rear diffuser that incorporates the new quad tailpipes.

On the inside the clients will have gray instrument dials with white needles, a boost pressure indicator, sport seats and aluminum pedals. When the 2013 Audi S3 will go on sale next year in Europe at a base price in Germany of 38.900 Euros (£31.100).
