Audi wins for the second time in a row the Le Mans 24 Hours with its R18 e-tron quattro car. The victory was claimed by the number 2 car that was driven by Loпc Duval (F), Tom Kristensen (DK) and Allan McNish (GB). On the second place comes the Toyota TS030 Hybrid, while the last position of the podium was taken also by Audi. 

"We owe the twelfth victory of our brand at Le Mans to the consistent, innovative spirit of our engineers, the unconditional commitment of the entire team and the skills and strong nerves of our drivers. On behalf of Audi, I extend my sincere congratulations on this success to all of them," said Rupert Stadler, Chairman of the Board of Management of AUDI AG,

"This marks another great success for Audi in which our hybrid system again prevailed and new technologies, which our customers will also benefit from in the future, were tested," added Rupert Stadler.

The 2013 24 Hours Le Mans race was also marked by Allan Simonsen death after a crash. 

At the LMP2 class, the race was won by Morgan-Nissan cars, while in the LM GTE Pro class Porsche 911 RSR claimed the victory. Porsche also won at the GTE AM class.
