This week Audi and his R8 e-tron have been on the top of the newspapers.

Now, according to the boys from AutoBlog.nl, the Ingolstadt-based car maker is working on a A6 Sportback e-tron Concept that will have the same e-tron technology as the recently axed R8 e-tron.

This new prototype is rumored to make its international debut at the 2013 IAA in Frankfurt this fall.

It will feature a 2.0 liter four-cylinder engine with 300 hp and a 100 hp electric motor. This will give the A6 Sportback e-tron Concept 400 hp, 20 hp less the the uber-sport S6.
