Audi has published today the first official pictures and details with the upcoming TT Roadster and TTS Roadster, two models which will be revealed at the 2014 Paris Motor Show.
 
On the outside, the new TT Roadster looks just like its coupe sibling but the roof top can be opened or closed in just 10 seconds at speed of up to 50 km/h (31 mph). This is pretty fast and practical. 

According to Audi, the new roof is 3 kilograms (6.6 lbs) lighter than the old one while the car equipped with the 2.0-liter TSI engine tipped the scale at 1.320 kilograms (2,910 lbs).

The new Audi TT Roadster will come with two engines. The first one is the 2.0-liter TDI with 184 horsepower and 380 Nm peak of torque. The second one is the 2.0-liter TFSI which is rated at 230 horsepower and 370 Nm peak of torque.

The Audi TTS Roadster will features the same engine but this time it offers 310 horsepower and 380 Nm peak of torque. As a result, the German convertible car can run from not to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.9 seconds, while the top speed is clocked at 250 km/h (155 mph).
