Audi will use this year Worthersee reunion to introduce the new A3 clubsport quattro concept, maybe a preview of a future RS3 sedan.
The car is based on the S3 sedan but it features a five cylinder 2.5 liter engine, borrowed from the TT-RS. Instead of delivering 300 hp, as the standard version of the S3, the new A3 clubsport quattro delivers a total of 535 hp and a maximum torque of 600 Nm, delivered on a very wide range, between 2300 and 600 rpm.
The Audi A3 clubsport quattro concept accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62.1 mph) in 3.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 310 km/h (192.6 mph). The engine is coupled to a seven speed S-tronic and has even a launch control system.
The body has been lowered 10 millimeters and the look has been improved with the help of 21 inch wheels shod with size 275/25 R21 tires. The internally vented front brake discs measure 370 mm.
The exterior design is marke by a magnetic Blue colored body and by Siglefreme grille up front.
The Audi A3 clubsport quattro concept has innovative braking. At high speeds, the air brake is activated electronically. At 250km/h (155.3 mph), the air brake reduces the stopping distance by around twelve meters (39.4 ft)
