Audi extends its range of A6 and A7 models in the UK with a special version, called Black Edition. As its name suggests, the special edition comes with a touch of black features on the exterior and also on the interior.
 
Both models will be available along a dark styling rotor-design alloy wheels with a dark titanium finish. The rims will have 20 inches on the A6, also on the current A6 Avant, and 21 inch on the A7.
 
The darker side of all three models is also expressed externally by a black finish for the grille and number plate surrounds and the window frame strips, and by privacy glass extending from the B-pillar rearwards. Same treatment for the A6 Avant Black Edition, that is also equipped with black roof rails.
 
Inside, the dark theme is moved further by distinctive Piano Black inlays which complement the sports seats upholstered in black Valcona leather and the black headlining.

The Black Edition also enriches the equipment lists of the cars. Adding on the current S-Line level of the A6, the special edition comes with a BOSE surround sound system, DAB digital radio and the Audi Music Interface (AMI) for iPod connection.
 
On top of these, the A7 Sportback also includes extras such as powered tailgate operation, electrically adjustable front seats and a powered retractable rear spoiler.
 
In the A6 range Black Edition specification is available along all engines from the 2.0 litre TDI 177 hp upwards, excluding S6 models, and with either front wheel drive or quattro all wheel drive. In the A7 Sportback, it can be enjoyed in all versions, excluding the front wheel drive 3.0 litre TDI 204 hp and the S7 Sportback.
 
The Audi A6 Black Edition starts from 35,010 pounds, followed by the A6 Avant at 36,970 pounds and the A7 Sportback at 50,575 pounds.
