Aston Martin has officially unveiled the new RapidE Concept. The prototype is based on the Rapide S and was developed with some help from Williams Advanced Engineering.

As the name suggest, the new Aston Martin RapidE concept is an electric vehicle but the British car manufacturer has not released the technical specifications.

With this concept, Aston Martin is exploring the possibility of an electric vehicle and more than that it could become a production version with Chinese investment group ChinaEquity. If such a model will get the green lights it will be manufactures in the United Kingdom and will see the world in about two years.
