Aston Martin will premiere two special DBS models (Coupe and Volante), called the Carbon Edition at this year’s 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show.
With the Aston Martin DBS Carbon Edition the automaker wants to replicate the success achieved with the DBS Carbon Black launched in 2009, and some ofthe unique features being offered this time including two new body colours (Flame Orange and Ceramic Grey) and 10-spoke design gloss black diamond turned wheels.
As a first for Aston Martin, the cars can be specified with the optional satin lacquer paint finish, while other ‘standard’ enhancements include black brake callipers (optional yellow, orange, red or grey). The Coupe comes with a carbon fiber front fascia, while both models feature a leather quilted headliner, a carbon weave following the form of the dashboard and carbon covered magnesium alloy paddles for the Toutchtronic II automatic gearbox.
The Aston Martin DBS Carbon Edition will also feature a laser engraved, special edition sill plaque made from carbon fiber.
Pricing for the coupe version Aston Martin DBS Carbon Edition start at 186,582 GBP (287,576 USD) and at 196,581 GBP (302,576 USD) for the Volante. The first customer deliveries are scheduled for the first quarter of 2012.
