Alfa Romeo has released the first details and the first photo of the upcoming Gloria Concept, the prototype that will make its official debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.

The new Alfa Romeo concept was developed with the students at the European Design Institute of Turin and is designed to appeal to Asian and American consumers.

The new Alfa Romeo Gloria Concept has a sleek design with a prominent grille, a long hood, slender LED headlight and a curvaceous body. The concept measures 4700mm long, 1920mm wide and 1320mm tall with a wheelbase of 2900mm.

It remains unclear if the new concept will be equipped with an engine, but the Italian officials say that it was designed to accommodate a "state-of-art V6" or a twin-turbo V8.
