Acura is introducing a special edition model of the 2012 TSX sports sedan as a form of expressing the fact that the company is still celebrating their 25th anniversary.

The 2012 Acura TSX SE will be sold exclusively with a 2.4-litre 4-cylinder engine, and some of the visual features that will distinguish this version from the rest of the range include a more aggressive looking front spoiler, a new rear bumper fascia, new side skirts and the Special Edition logo n the trunklid.

The 2012 Acura TSX SE has also received a pair of unique 17 inch 5-spoke aluminium wheels while at the interior the automaker added a series of ‘sport-minded appointments’ like exclusive leather surfaces for the seats, steering wheel and shift knob featuring contrasting red stitching. Customers who purchase the TSX Special Edition will also get red illuminated gauges, overhead lighting and footwell lighting plus aluminium pedal covers.

The K23 2.4-litre 4-cyl engine powering the 2012 Acura TSX SE will be mated to either a 6-speed manual or a Sequential SportShift 5-speed automatic. This model will go on sale in late September, but its price was not announced yet.
