The VW E Lavida was revealed at the 2010 Auto Show in Beijing and is part of the German automaker’s China
strategy for e-mobility.

The VW E Lavida was developed by the company’s arm in Shanghai and is based on the Golf IV platform, using a electric motor and battery pack for propulsion.
As this point there are not many details available regarding the VW E Lavida, expect for the fact that the concept he is 4,60 m long, 1,74 m wide and 1,46 m high with a wheelbase measuring 2,61 m and a trunk loading capacity of 472 liters.
Besides the VW E Lavida the company wants to start producing other electric vehicles in China by years 2013 and 2014.
