The New Year will come with two special edition models to Volkswagen's UK showrooms: the Scirocco GTS and the Beetle Fender. Both cars will be available for order in the UK on January 2.
The Scirocco GTS has a styling kit comprising a pair of stripes running the length of the vehicle, red or white door mirror caps, unique 18-inch alloy rims and a panoramic sunroof.
The GTS will be released in 4 color combos: Candy White with black stripes and red door mirrors, Salsa Red with black stripes and white mirrors, Deep Black Pearl with white stripes and red mirrors, and Indium Grey with black stripes and red mirrors.
Customers can choose from two engines: a 2.0-litre TDI diesel with 175hp (177 PS) or a 2.0-litre TSI petrol unit with 207hp (210PS), both linked to a six-speed manual or DSG gearbox.
Prices in the UK are set at £27,945 for the TSI manual, £29,345 for the TSI DSG, £27,980 for the TDI manual and £29,395 for the TDI DSG.
The Beetle Fender edition, on the other hand, will be offered exclusively with a 2.0-litre TDI 138hp (140PS) engine coupled to either a six-speed manual or DSG transmission. The price for the manual model is £23,015, and £24,610 for the DSG.
