Inside the cabin, the German model is coming with blue ambient lighting, a modified gear knob and a steering wheel wrapped in leather.

Under the hood of the 2015 Volkswagen Passat GTE is a petrol-electric hybrid system that includes a modified version of the 1.4 liter TSI unit. It now offers 156 horsepower and it is supported by a 115 horsepower and 400 Nm electric motor. As a result, the hybrid powertrain offers a combined output of 218 HP. The engines resources are sent to the ground via a six-speed DSG gearbox.
