Last year, the journalists from Motor Trend organized the first edition of "The World's Greatest Drag Race". This year the same petrolheads decided to repeat the experience but with some new characters.
At the starting line, the journalists brought nine supercars, and we are talking about various models from different segments. From England we have the Jaguar XKR-S and the McLaren MP4-12C. From Germany we have the Porsche 911 Carrera S and the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Edition. You will also get to see the Nissan GT-R Black Edition, the defending champion, and the Subaru BRZ, with both these models representing the country of the Rising Sun. As far as the USA, its representatives in this case were the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 and the Ford Shelby GT500. Last, but not least, the mighty Lamborghini Aventador which also gets to flex its muscles on the runway.
If we take a look over the figures totaled at the starting line, we are talking about no less than 4.730 HP. These nine competitors are some of the best, and the 1/4 mile drag race is expected to be very tough. Watch the video below to see who won the "The World's Greatest Drag Race".
