Subaru of America has introduced the Subaru Impreza WRX STI SRRT racecars that compete in the Grand Sport class of the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge series at the Daytona Raceway.
In the 2010 season opening the two Subaru Impreza WRX STI SRRT (Subaru Road Racing Team) racecars have allready ended on the 15th position out of 41 and this year’s drivers will be Andrew Aquilante and Bret Spaude.
The Subaru Impreza WRX STI SRRT racecars have a 305 HP turbocharged/intercooled engine under the bonnet and feature a driver-selectable powertrain and dynamic handling controls for world-class sports car performance.
Also Subaru Impreza WRX STI SRRT racecars use 6-speed manual gearbox with the advanced Driver Controlled Center Differential (DCCD) version of Subaru Symmetrical All Wheel Drive. High-performance chassis elements include aluminum suspension components and a Brembo(®) Performance Brake System.
