After unveiling the production version BRZ sports coupe in Tokyo yesterday, Subaru has also pulled the wraps off the motorsports derivative called the BRZ GT300.
Scheduled to participate in the 2012 Super GT Series, this racing version BRZ is wider and lower the the standard car plus it is fitted with all the racing ‘ameneties’ demanded for competing in the GT300 class.
Apart from the motorsports derived body kit the BRZ GT300 is also fitted with racing wheels and tires, while the engine is most probably a 2.0-litre Boxer which has been tuned to produce 300 horses.
We are still waiting for the official press release to come out, so stay tuned for more specific details.
