This latest spy video that appeared online recently offers the clearest view yet (from the back) of the 2012 Porsche 911.
The next generation performance model has been caught on camera while performing tests on public roads, and even though you’ll notice the complete absence of camouflage, we still don’t quite know what to make of those taillights, which are clearly inspired by the 918 Spyder Concept but seem to be covered by red paint.
The footage also offers the viewer an audio sample with the 911’s quad exhaust system, and in case you forgot, Porsche’s flagship model is expected to premiere at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
Based on previously leaked details, the 2012 Porsche 911 will be initially offered as the Carrera or Carrera S, with performance levels expected to reach 350 HP and 400 HP respectively.
