The 2013 Smart Forjeremy, a model based on the ForTwo Electric-Drive has been unveiled at the 2012 LA Motor Show. This new model was created by the Mercedes Design Studio in California and by the fashion designer Jeremy Scott, and it comes with special body architecture.

In the back of the car we have a set of wings made by fiberglass that can also illuminate to act as brake lights. In the front we have eyebrow headlights, chrome mirror caps and the alloy wheels are looking like an aircraft propeller.

On the inside, the Nappa leather upholstery meats the chrome accessories and the futuristic steering wheel.

The electric drive train is made from an electric motor that delivers 74 bhp and 130 Nm of torque. The power comes from a set of lithium-ion battery pack that can provide a range of up to 90 miles. The battery pack can be recharged in seven hours when is used a standard charging equipment. When the clients choose a rapid charger the time decreases to one hour.

The winged ForTwo is scheduled to go on sale, as head of Smart Dr Anette Winkler confirmed: "We will launch a limited special edition in 2013. I really look forward to cruising the city in this item of haute couture."
