The Czech car maker Skoda officially revealed the new Spaceback version of its Rapid model. The new model comes with the same 2.602 millimeters wheelbase as the sedan model, but the length has been decreased.

The modifications were made between the C and D pillars and the new Rapid Spaceback can be optionally fitted with a panoramic glass roof for a sporty look. In the back we also can see a new roof mounted spoiler that gives you an aggressive impression.

The new Skoda Rapid Spaceback comes with a cargo volume of 415 liters with the seats up and 1.380 liters with the rear seats folded down. The new Czech model will borrow the sedan engine line-up. We are talking about two diesel options and four petrol units.

Skoda also has plans to introduce later this year a GreenLine version equipped with a 1.6 liter TDI unit that can deliver 89 HP. According to Czech produces, it will have a fuel consumption of 3.8 liters per 100 km, while the CO2 emissions will be recorded at 99 grams per km.
