Skoda has published the first official sketch of the next generation Skoda Superb. On the outside, the new Czech model is heavy influenced by the VisionC Concept, a prototype that was first unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 2014. 

Exterior
 
The front part of the car is now dominated by the new hood and by the radiator grille. The headlights have a new design and feature LED daytime running lights. The new Skoda Superb will be positioned in the upper zone of the mid-class and will be based on the MQB platform. It will be longer and will have 75 kilograms (165 pounds) less than the predecessor. 
 
Engines

Under the hood, the entry-level version will come with a 1.4 liter petrol unit rated at 125 horsepower and will have a starting price of around 25.000 Euros. On the engine lineup, customers will also find a 1.8 TSI engine with 260 horsepower and the 1.6 and 2.0 TDI units with outputs from 120 to 190 horsepower. According to Skoda, the new Superb will be fully revealed in February with an international debut in March at the Geneva Motor Show.
